Someone selling QR menus has probably told you that you need one. Some of that is true and some of it is a pitch. Here is the short version.
What it actually fixes
Reprinting. Prices in Egypt do not sit still, and every change means a new print run or a sticker over the old number. A digital menu gets edited once and every table sees it. If your prices move a few times a year, this alone covers the cost.

What it won't fix
A slow kitchen, a bloated menu, or food people don't come back for. It's a menu, not a manager. If your printed menu is a mess, the same mess on a phone is still a mess. Hygiene is real but modest: some guests genuinely dislike handling a menu that has passed through many hands, and they'll appreciate scanning instead. Just don't buy it for that reason alone.
